Tyson seeks to block Costco price-fixing arbitration

By Matthew Perlman (February 18, 2022, 7:09 PM EST) – Tyson Foods has asked a Washington federal court to block Costco from arbitrating claims over alleged chicken price manipulation after raising concerns in multidistrict litigation regarding interference in an ongoing criminal investigation of the industry.

Tyson filed a lawsuit Thursday asking the court to find that he has no obligation to arbitrate with Costco and to issue an injunction preventing the arbitration from proceeding.
